Additional Information
G59 Control Panel
The G59 is used in grid connecting embedded generation schemes to protect against:
Voltage change - Under and over 240V
Frequency change - Under and over 50Hz
Vector shift - 1deg increments
For systems that generate in excess of 16 Amps per phase, G59 regulations are employed in the UK. The G59 control panel has a lid mounted G59 relay complete with LCD readout, which automatically disconnects the embedded generator from the national grid upon a mains fault using a large 3-phase contactor. A door interlock rotary isolator adds protection and allows a user to manually disconnect their embedded generation system.
Comes with 4x 20mm holes in the gland plate for easy connection on site. A light is mounted along side the G59 relay giving the user a quick indication as to whether the system is grid connected or not. The G59 is used to protect against: Voltage change - Under and over 240V Frequency change - Under and over 50Hz Vector shift - 1deg increments
